In the first part in Milan, the remaining chefs faced a series of challenges, starting with a Quickfire that saw them prepare risotto in just 35 minutes. While the Quickfire winner, Tristen Epps, took home a $15,000 prize, the real drama began in the elimination rounds.
In the polenta round, Shuai Wang emerged victorious, automatically securing his spot in the finale. The Beet round saw Tristen impressing the judges with a flawlessly executed dish, while Bailey Sullivan and César Murillo fought to stay in the game. The gorgonzola round pushed Bailey ahead, eliminating César and setting the stage for a fierce finale.
