Warren Beatty and Annette Bening are not only two of the biggest names in Hollywood, but they’re a major power couple in it, too. And now their daughter, Ella Beatty, is making a name for herself too.
After making a mark on Broadway last year in the award-winning play Appropriate, alongside Sarah Paulson, 25-year-old Ella is paving her own path, and it included turning heads at the 2025 Tony Awards.
On the red carpet Sunday night on June 8, Ella wowed in a black halter top, wide-legged pants and matching silk gloves. She accessorized with a black bag, pointed heels, diamond bracelets and her hair parted to the side in soft waves.
As she posed for pictures alongside Paulson, we couldn’t help but see the similarities between her and her famous parents. After all, she has her dad’s eyes and her mom’s face shape, right?

In a chat with Paulson for Interview Magazine just last week, Ella talked about following her parents’ footsteps.
“It really never occurred to me [to change my last name] until I started working,” she admitted. “I do feel a kind of responsibility towards an artistic legacy that I don’t feel ashamed of.”
“I would hope that my work would be powerful enough to offer something specific,” she continued. “I’d hope that my work would be enough to make me separate.”

Currently, Ella is starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the play Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City.
“There is nobody less movie-starry in the world than Hugh Jackman,” Ella said of her co-star. “He’s the most generous, loving, open, kind, hardworking person. He’s done so much musical theater and you can see that in the way that he shows up to work.”
She then revealed she was “intimidated” to share the stage with him at first. “But when we sat down to do the first reading of the play in the fall, it was so animated immediately that it became about the play very quickly,” she said. “We felt like we needed to do it.”
In the play, Jackman plays a charismatic yet down-on-his-luck professor who develops a connection with Ella’s Annie, his 19-year-old student.
To Ella, having that admiration for Jackman was helpful to their on-stage dynamic. “The closer we get to each other and the more familiar we become, I have thought about how important it is to maintain a certain amount of that awe that I have for him as a performer, because it’s in the play,” she said.
Looks like she’s the next “nepo baby” to look out for!
