June 2025 has already gotten off to a great start, especially with streaming TV shows. Some of the most popular reality shows returned with their new seasons in the first week, with more big-budget shows across different genres set to premiere later this month.
However, the final week of June 2025 arguably has the best lineup, with three of the most anticipated TV shows set to hit our screens towards the month’s end. While two of these shows are destined for greatness, one title is all but confirmed to be a misfire. Here is everything you need to know about the winners and losers of the June 2025 TV show schedule.
June 2025 heralds the battle of two of the best returning TV shows
June 2025 saw the return of reality shows like Love Island USA and Below Deck. Meanwhile, the second season of Shane Giles’ comedy series Tires and Owen Wilson’s sports comedy Stick generated plenty of hype in the early weeks.

However, two of the month’s biggest TV shows are slated to hit our screens in the month’s final week. Firstly, the highly addictive and deeply moving comedy-drama The Bear will take viewers back to the high-stakes world of professional restaurants.
The Hulu series will drop its fourth season on June 25, 2025. Meanwhile, the globally popular phenomenon that is Squid Game will return to Netflix just days later with its third and final season dropping on the streaming service on June 27, 2025 (via Rotten Tomatoes).

Both shows have a solid track record, receiving rave reviews in their previous seasons. With Squid Game set to conclude after season 3, fans will undoubtedly tune in to find answers to some of the biggest questions left behind by season 2. Similarly, The Bear‘s consistent streak at the Emmys means it will only add to its viewership with season 4.
One of the biggest TV Shows of June 2025 is bound to fail
Given their track record, both Squid Game season 3 and The Bear season 4 are undoubtedly going to emerge as hits. However, the same cannot be said for arguably one of the most expensive TV shows of June 2025, which comes from Marvel Studios.

On June 24, 2025, fans will finally get to witness the Ironheart series, starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams / Ironheart, reprising her role from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The series was first announced in 2020, almost five years ago.
Furthermore, the miniseries will only contain six episodes, with three of them dropping together in the last week of June. As a result, it seems Marvel does not have much confidence in the show, and the studio is likely eager to drop the episodes as soon as possible.
The Ironheart character from the comics also wasn’t popular with readers, which makes the show’s chances of succeeding extremely slim. Therefore, the series appears to be headed for emerging as one of the biggest disappointments of this month on the small screen.
The Bear is currently streaming on Hulu, and Squid Game is currently available on Netflix. Ironheart is set to premiere on June 24 on Disney+
