To Be Hero X has a vast team working behind it. It is a masterpiece of a donghua that has taken over the competition even in the anime industry. Given how much dedication has been put into the series, it’s no surprise that it’s such a huge hit.
From the story, animation, characters, direction, and all the way to its theme songs and music, everything has been executed to perfection. It is in the form of an omnibus with a set of episodes dedicated to exploring each of the top 10 heroes in the world of To Be Hero X.
To Be Hero X has a massive number of songs

Background themes and songs contribute a lot to any audiovisual media. Whether it is anime, movies, TV series, or plays, it is the songs that bring the scenes to life. Depending on the situation at hand, the music changes and lets the audience know the tone of the scene. To Be Hero X makes splendid use of music in its episodes.
In an interview, Cocotame talked with three chosen producers of Aniplex who are deeply involved with the To Be Hero X project. During the interview, one of the producers revealed an estimate of the number of songs that were used in To Be Hero X, and the number might stupefy anyone. Keep in mind that a typical anime can have anywhere between 50 to 60 songs at most.
That’s right. In total, there are about 160 songs. Managing them was a lot of work, and we were constantly meeting with the composers and recording.

The reason behind such a huge number of soundtracks is that different composers prepare them for each episode. Thus, the total number of songs ended up becoming quite large. The music in To Be Hero X is created to suit each scene. The diverse music also brings out the nature of the series even more.
Too many cooks did not spoil the broth in To Be Hero X

Not only does To Be Hero X have a huge number of soundtracks, but it also has a huge team working behind it. According to the producers, the series was divided and distributed among a number of animation studios. Each studio worked on different episodes without making them feel like a chaotic jumble of different art styles.
The donghua uses 2D, 3D, and a blend of both animation styles at times. The transition from 2D to 3D is seamless and is done beautifully. Different studios that were experts in each animation style were responsible for the scenes. But the coordination between them proved to be exemplary.
The omnibus format works perfectly for the series. Even though most anime get ruined if multiple studios work on them simultaneously, the ingenuity of To Be Hero X lies in how it is perfectly assembled. So far, the episodes have been one hit after another, and hopefully, the same will remain throughout its run.
To Be Hero X is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.
