RTE Fair City viewers were baffled by Babs’ bizarre confession in tonight’s episode.
Despite Victor’s objections and his efforts, with Ruby’s help, to change her mind, Babs has remained firm in her decision to become a taxi driver.

Tonight, Babs brushed off Leo’s warning about a difficult passenger, suspecting he was trying to steal her fare.
When the passenger made an offensive remark, she threw him out and confessed to Ruby: “I threw a fare out of the cab near the M50 and I just know he’s going to complain to Carol.”
However she actually earned unexpected praise from both Carol and Leo.
To Babs’ delight, Carol also credited Babs with helping secure a corporate Lidl account.
RTE viewers were all shocked by Babs’ confession.
Sylvia tweeted: “Surely throwing someone out of your taxi on the M50 is illegal???”
Michael said: “Babs will end up in Lidl.”
Ciara commented: “Babs fave words for the past two weeks, ‘I think I m going to get fired’.”
Another viewer wrote: “Babs needs to be arrested.”
Also tonight, on Kira’s request, Renee encouraged a reluctant Orla that working in Lidl would be a good career move.
Kira apologised to Orla and offered her a donated top she had her eye on as a sign of peace.
Elsewhere, Kev was disappointed to learn the locket was worthless.
After Ger short-changed him for the break-in, he returned it to Liam.
Realising Ger used Kev to get at him, Liam confronted her in McCoys, and their dark histories resurfaced.
Growing suspicious, Ger had Kev threatened which prompted him to admit he gave the locket back to Liam.
EMMA AND JAMES
Meanwhile, Holly told a crestfallen Emma and Rafferty that she had received an unexpected job offer in Australia.
Emma tried to convince her not to go.
Holly revealed to James that she knew he put her forward for the job in an attempt to get rid of her and Milo.
Holly threatened to tell Emma and Rafferty about his plan if he didn’t step up for Milo.
