Orlando Pirates have reportedly completed a deal which will see Gallants star Masindi Nemtajela join the club next month.
According to reputable local publication Unplayable, Nemtajela has signed a long-term contract at the club.
Now, new reports suggest the Buccaneers weren’t the only club chasing the star midfielder.
Nemtajela, who made 20 appearances for Gallants last season, was also on the radar of Kaizer Chiefs!
According to The Citizen, Orlando Pirates beat their rivals to the central midfielder’s signature!
“Orlando Pirates have beaten Kaizer Chiefs to the signing of midfielder Masindi Nemtajela,” the publication reported.
“Nemtajela is said to be seen by Pirates as a replacement for Miguel Timm, who is set to leave at the end of this season.”
Kaizer Chiefs have already said goodbye to Njabulo Blom meaning one midfielder is already gone.
