Maya’s Versace swimsuit and sarong look was worn by Claudia Schiffer in 1992[/caption]
She kicked off her collection last night on a luxury yacht, wearing a one-piece swimsuit and sarong from Versace — a look Claudia Schiffer wore in 1992.
Maya told The Sun: “We’re doing all archive, vintage, Nineties runway inspired.
“They’re all from hidden archives.
“The designers have been hunting them down for the last few months for me.
“Everything should have a runway reference.
“It’s going to be very vintage.”
But the star is going to have to tread carefully, adding: “It’s all stuff that I can’t rip or ruin because it has to go back after!”
Maya looked as glamorous as ever in the multicoloured swimsuit and matching headband.
The TV star wore her brunette tresses sleek and loose and accessorised with a pair of gold statement drop earrings.
It comes after ITV revealed its first bombshell – and it’s a good one.
Soon-to-be Islander Toni Laites will be joining the line-up.
The American star, 24, is set to enter the Mallorca house as the first bombshell of this year’s series – and is ready to bag a British boy as she believes they’re “more polite with better manners” than their American counterparts.
Love Island returns Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX .
