Jenna Dewan is soaking up the sweet days of summer with adorable shots of her family. She perfectly described this time as “little moments of sunshine” on a June 13 Instagram post — it’s that delightful time when each second feels golden and blissful.
The Rookie star took her followers on a journey of snapshots her three children: daughter Everly, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum, and son Callum, 5, and daughter Rhiannon, 1, her kids with fiancé Steve Kazee.
From kissing Callum gently on the head while he sat in Kazee’s lap to her twinning moment with Everly, Dewan is relishing these fleeting times when her babies are all around her. Even cute Rhiannon got in the act with a mean mug at the camera lens — she’s a natural performer already!
The 43-year-old actress admitted to People in June 2024, ahead of the arrival of Rihannon, that her parenting style had changed dramatically over the years, especially with the delicate balance of a co-parenting relationship with Tatum.
“Like everything else in life, you learn as you go. You shift and evolve, and you adapt to how life is presenting itself to you,” she explained. “That includes getting the new normal of a blended family.”
Dewan also knows that her children are her top priority — no matter what. “Kids always come first. How you feel about your kids,” she added. “How you treat your kids. Kids always come first above everything else.”
With children in three different stages of life, Dewan is also finding individual ways to connect with her kids. With Everly in her tween years, she was surprised to find out that it was her job that made her the cool mom.
“It’s funny — she’d seen an episode or two of The Rookie in the past, but it was always a little bit scary for her,” Dewan told Variety in February. “However, recently she said, ‘Mom, I really want to watch The Rookie.’ I think I have some of the boys in her sixth-grade class to thank because they’re coming to school saying how good it is.”
Dewan is soaking in those tender moments this summer — it’s a great time in her parenting life!
