Everyone’s Sleeping on This Insignificant Bell That Destroys Nightreign’s Toughest Bosses With Ease

Elden Ring Nightreign is a co-op, roguelike spin on FromSoftware’s well-established Soulsborne formula. In the Elden Ring world, Nightreign also features some series staples, such as the presence of a variety of consumable items.

Many of these items can be rather unassuming, and dish out a lot more damage against bosses than one might think. The Wraith-Calling Bell is one of these many examples, being used as a powerful DPS tool, and you can find more on this bell below.

How to get the Wraith-Calling Bell in Elden Ring Nightreign

The Wraith-Calling Bell is one of the many available Tools in Elden Ring Nightreign. Tools are also known as Reusable Tools, which can be used to dish out massive amounts of damage to enemies.

Additionally, they can be used for multiplayer communications, transformations, and applying certain debuffs to bosses. These consumables are typically reusable and can be used to great effect.

The in-game description goes as follows:

Bell used by worshippers of revenants. Ring bell, using FP to summon prowling wraiths. This can be done multiple times in a row. Wraiths are said to be the vengeful spirits of those who died when cursed.

Returning to the Wraith-Calling Bell, this particular consumable is a common item and can be easily obtained. There are two known ways of obtaining the item – the first of which involves grabbing it from the grave stones.

Unfortunately, obtaining the consumable in this way is a bit of a hit-or-miss affair, given its random chance of dropping. Thankfully, the game does allow for a guaranteed way to grab the item at the start of a run by using a random relic.

Overpowered or simply overhyped?

As the name implies, the Wraith-Calling Bell is a bell that is capable of calling forth the spirits of the undead. However, using the Bell consumes FP, which makes its usage a fair bit limited – you simply cannot spam it forever.

With good reason, too, given how ridiculously powerful it can be, but more on that later, players can equip only one Bell per slot, and spam it at the cost of 6 FP per use. Ringing the Bell will summon a wraith that will dish out damage to the enemy ahead of it.

While it does admittedly take some time to kill an enemy with the Wraith-Calling Bell, it is by no means a terrible weapon. On the contrary, the Bell is quite effective considering its ridiculously low FP cost.

Players can effectively spam the consumable for easy runs. It’s a great addition to a Caster, and it complements magic-based builds quite well. Keep in mind that this is true as of the current build of the game, and FromSoftware can very easily nerf the Bell if so required.

Furthermore, players are more likely to find rarer and more powerful weapons along the way, which might make this not as appealing. Regardless, it still remains a very powerful tool.
