
Premier League club, Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign Super Eagles midfielder, Christantus Uche, from Getafe. The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has emerged as one of La Ligas brightest revelations following a stellar debut season with Getafe. Uche played 38 matches under manager Jos Bordals, scoring four goals and making seven assists. Premier League sides Leeds United, Brentford, Chelsea, and Newcastle United, as well as Spanish giants Atltico Madrid, have all expressed strong interest in securing his services. However, Everton are the latest to signal their interest ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Estadio Deportivo. Uches release clause is set at 25 million, but Getafe are reportedly open to negotiations. Ceuta, his former club, retains a 20% sell-on clause in any future transfer.
