A HOME decoration product sold by Wayfair which is described as being “warm and soothing” has been urgently recalled due to a “high risk of electric shock”.
The Tilson Tripod Floor Lamp has been removed from the company’s online marketplace after the product was recalled on June 6.
According to the safety report on the Government’s website the lamp presents a “high risk of electric shock” because the plug “does not meet the constructional or dimensional requirements of BS 1363.”
Anyone who owns the lamp is advised to stop using it immediately and contact the distributor you purchased it from.
The safety alert added: “The user could also receive an electric shock when inserting or removing the plug from the socket.”
The lamp is available in four colours and the warning covers all models.
In the online description, the lamp stands 166cm tall and claims to “illuminate your space with elegance and style” and is made to “bring a touch of sophistication and warmth to any room”.
The design is said to have an “industrial Scandinavian vibe” and “effortlessly combines functionality with aesthetics”.
The ad continues: “With its unique fir tree body, this lamp exudes a sense of beauty that will captivate your senses… The fabric cap adds a touch of elegance and softness to the overall design, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere.”

Speaking about the move in an interview, Kelli said: “We’d been to Pattaya a few times on a holiday, we did a bit of island hopping and in June they legalised marijuana and we found this really cute little shop and got really good friends with the owner and decided to basically set up our own weed shop.”
She added: “I’ll be honest, I’ve smoked weed since I was about 15, but I’m not a hard-core weed smoker.
“I can’t do full joints and edibles and all that, so it probably bodes well, or I’d probably smoke all the profits.
“It’s definitely not something I envisaged, but we’ve definitely made the right choice.”

“I had people cut fences and let their cows in, intimidating me by coming [on her land] and hunting, it felt like bullying.”
She added: “It’s very unusual for a single girl to move to this part of Campo by herself and with no partner, no husband, that’s really strange.”
