Call Off the Skepticism – Mario Kart World Just Got 10 Hours Deeper Thanks to One Obsessive Racer

The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally out for players to enjoy, and Mario Kart World arrived with it as a launch title. Fans of the long-running kart racing series have already delved deep into it, discovering everything that the game has to offer.

The game features a plethora of Intermission tracks, but an absolute madlad discovered that there are actually 202 of them. Not only that, but they’ve managed to map every single one of them. Obsession or dedication? You be the judge, but the efforts are nothing short of meritorious.

Mario Kart World just found its most obsessive racer in “Getlucky”

There are dedicated players who want to touch upon or find out everything that a game has to offer. And then there’s Mario modder “Getlucky”. It hasn’t even been a full week since Mario Kart World released on the Switch 2, and this obsessive racer has already managed to outdo every player by mapping every route and Intermission tracks.

Getlucky shared this incredible achievement on X, revealing that it would take more than 10 hours to race on all “202 unique routes between tracks” in the game. What’s even more mindblowing is the fact that the player actually spent 10 hours racing on all of them and uploaded a video of it on their channel.

The video showcases and explores each of the unique routes of the open-world title, and take a wild guess just how long it is. If your guess was anything below 10 hours, you’re wrong, as the video is a bewildering 10 hours, 16 minutes, and 3 seconds long.

Beginning with Mario Bros. Circuit, the video ends at Mario Kart’s most iconic race track, the Rainbow Road. It’s impressive seeing someone dedicate an entire day to Mario Kart, but they have unironically made the lives of other Mario Kart World racers easier, making the game 10 hours deeper.

Plus, the way they worded the tweet is as if spending 10 hours on Mario Kart World mapping every route is normal. “Anyway, I spent yesterday doing that, here is all of them,” they wrote. But they did confirm in the video description that it was no easy feat doing so, stating that “This took a very long time, I hope you enjoy.”

Hilarious reactions swarm Getlucky’s 10-hour Mario Kart World adventure

Getlucky’s tweet on X highlighting their 10-hour journey in Mario Kart World has been met with a variety of reactions, ranging from players concerned about the modder’s health, while others are losing their marbles at it.

The YouTube video has been subject to some entertaining comments as well, with a lot of players now waiting for someone as obsessive as Getlucky to rank all 202 unique routes between tracks.

Maybe Getlucky’s accomplishment will inspire others to dedicate more time to Mario Kart World, which could lead to a player ranking all the Intermission tracks. Rest assured, if that happens, we’ll be there to witness the greatness.

So, what do you think about Getlucky spending more than 10 hours to go over and map every Intermission track in Mario Kart World? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below.
