We love keeping up with the “First Family of Football” — Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, personal trainer Brittany Mahomes, and their adorable kiddos — but there’s been one thing we’ve been dying to see: their newest addition. Since baby Golden Raye was born in January of this year (joining big sister Sterling, 4, and big brother Bronze, 2), the Mahomes have given us sneak peeks, but never a good look at Golden’s sweet face.
Until now, that is! In a joint Instagram post, Patrick and Brittany unveiled new family photos featuring all the Mahomes kids — and little Golden is just as adorable as we knew she’d be!
Captioned “What truly matters,” the carousel of photos features the entire Mahomes fam in casual looks against a brown background. But in her ruffled blue denim onesie, white tee, and oversized white bow, Golden steals the show! She beams in a picture with Brittany, and it’s clear that she has the same wide, sparkling blue eyes as her mama and sister. With her big smile and teeny-tiny bare toes, she’s so cute we can hardly contain ourselves!
Fans think so too, and the excitement over the big reveal is palpable in the comments. “Not Golden being the most precious thing I’ve ever seen,” says one.
“Yay!!! Finally seeing Golden in all her shine! She’s beautiful and precious and adorable!!!” gushed another.
Of course, though we’re all excited to see Golden, she isn’t the only picture-perfect Mahomes kiddo. In a white sundress with lacy white flowers and her enviable blonde curls secured with a ribbon and flowing midway down her back, Sterling has a big smile in almost every photo. And Bronze looks dapper in a white linen shirt and light green pants, characteristically stoic in most of the pictures (we love the strong, silent type!), but flashing a little grin in a heart-melting black and white solo shot. All three kids are barefoot and summer-ready, and we just can’t get over how sweet this little trio of siblings is. (You can see the photos here.) And their parents look pretty happy, too.
“Oh my goodness, I love being a mom,” Brittany previously told SheKnows. “I think I’ve been called to be a mom ever since I was little. Just seeing my kids grow up, and the things that they’re learning, and the things that they’re taking from their dad … when we have first experiences with them, taking them somewhere, seeing them happy and lit up and in good spirits when we do stuff, is probably the biggest thing that I enjoy.”
We’re so glad the Mahomes family allows us glimpses into their life on social media … and now we can’t wait to see even more adventures that baby Golden will be a part of!
