UK’s biggest ever Euromillions draw making you richer than Adele could be won TONIGHT after huge rollover

ONE lucky Brit could bag the UK’s biggest ever Euromillions prize tonight.

The mammoth money pot rolled over to Friday after Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw had no winners.

As the prize money is now capped at £208 million, a “Must Be Won” draw will be triggered after the fifth draw, which will be on Friday, June 20.

This means that the money will have to be given to someone that night.

Players can therefore win the huge sum of cash, without matching all five numbers and two lucky stars.

If no one matches the five numbers and two lucky stars, the fund will roll down to the next tier, meaning anyone who matches five numbers and one lucky star will share the £208 million sum.

If no one is a winner in this tier, then players who have matched just the five main numbers will share the prize.

The jackpot will keep moving down a tier, until there is a winner.

If there is a sole jackpot winner, they will become richer than Adele and Dua Lipa.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, said: “With 13 guaranteed new millionaires, and potentially the nation’s biggest ever National Lottery winner, it’s the perfect time to defy superstition and take a chance.

“The unluckiest day of the year might just become a day you’ll never forget.”

“This Friday EuroMillions gets even bigger.

“Not only will we see the £208 million EuroMillions jackpot up for grabs – which would make the biggest-ever National Lottery winner – but there will also be an incredible 13 guaranteed UK millionaires made through EuroMillions Millionaire Maker.

“That’s a not-so-unlucky Friday 13th for the lucky ticket-holders who end up bagging these life-changing prizes.

“Get your tickets early to ensure you’ll be in with a chance of a massive life-changing win.”

He added: “The EuroMillions jackpot is now capped, so any money that would have gone into increasing the jackpot now boosts prizes in the next winning prize tier, meaning that we could see multiple UK players banking huge prizes for matching just the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.”

What is the UK’s biggest lottery jackpot?

Back in 2022, an anonymous UK ticket holder won £195million on the EuroMillions, making the current record holder for the prize.

Everything you need to know about Lottery and EuroMillions

Just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, bagged £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on May 10.

The UK’s third biggest win came after an anonymous ticket-holder scooped the £177million jackpot on November 26 last year.

It came after 11 millionaires were made on the National Lottery draw in just one week in 2024.

One lucky Brit won a cool £33million with their Euromillions ticket.

Another ticket, which was snagged in the UK, matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars.

It came just weeks after two players from the same county scooped £1m each.

Tom Fletcher forced to apologise for ‘insensitive’ post about his flight after devastating Air India crash

TOM Fletcher has apologised after posting an “insensitive” Instagram photo after the fatal Air India crash.

He deleted a post about flying a plane while listening to the Foo Fighters song Learn to Fly.

On Thursday it was revealed that an Air India plane burst into a fireball while carrying 242 people, including 53 Brits, flying to London Gatwick airport.

A British man miraculously survived the crash after jumping off the flaming jet and was filmed walking away from the wreckage.

After reading the reports, McFly singer Tom, 38, wrote: “Sorry, I’ve only just seen the terrible news about the Air India crash.

“So awful. Had I known earlier, I obviously wouldn’t have posted about my flight today.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star continued: “I understand why that must have looked insensitive and have deleted it. Thanks for letting me know.

“My whole heart goes out to everyone involved in the crash and all their friends & families.”

Tom got his license to fly in 2008 when he was just 23 years old.

He previously said he would have been a pilot if he wasn’t in McFly.

Tom apologised after Mark Wright was slammed for moaning about leg room on his flight after the tragic Air India crash.

The former Towie star, 38,  posted a snap of himself with wife Michelle Keegan and baby Palma posing in front of a private plane, as he moaned about the leg room on standard jets.

Appearing completely oblivious to the day’s events, Mark wrote alongside it:  “1 day babe, for now we’ll take row 26 with no extra leg room.”

His followers were quick to point out his lack of sensitivity, with one person commenting: “Prob not the best day to post this when so many people lost their lives on a plane.”

A second said: “Not really appropriate to put this up after today’s plane crash.”

While a third wrote: “Poor taste given today’s event.”

And a fourth added: “What a time to choose to post this.”

Radio DJ Mark has since deleted the post and blamed it on an admin error.

He wrote: “I apologise for a post I just put up on my page after today’s heartbreaking events.

“I have posts from a holiday that are on the scheduled setting, which go out on future days I have set them for which was done last week. It’s a horrendous coincidence that today’s post was on such a devastating day.

“Once I logged in to my Instagram and realised the post had gone out, I immediately deleted. My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected from today. I’m sorry for this mistake and any offence caused.”

At least 265 people were killed – including those on the plane and on the ground – when the Air India flight crashed into a hostel seconds after take off.

According to flight tracking website Flightradar, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner’s final signal was received just seconds after take-off.

This was last logged at 1:38pm local time – less than a minute after it started the journey.

King Charles II said he was “desperately shocked” by Thursday’s air crash in India, sending “prayers and deepest possible sympathies” to the families of those affected.

“My wife and I have been desperately shocked by the terrible events in Ahmedabad this morning,” the monarch wrote on Instagram, calling it a “heartbreaking and traumatic time”.

Christian Horner tipped for new job that would give him ‘what he’s always wanted’ as Red Bull F1 speculation grows

CHRISTIAN HORNER has been tipped to take a stunning new role in Formula One as speculation over his future refuses to go away.

Stunning rumours earlier this week suggested the Red Bull chief could make a remarkable switch to become the team principal of Ferrari.

Horner dismissed suggestions he could leave the F1 team he has led for more than 20 years, joking his inability to speak Italian meant the move would not work.

However, former F1 star Ralf Schumacher has tipped the 51-year-old to take up an improved position at French constructor Alpine.

According to Schumacher, 49, Horner could be tempted to leave Red Bull if controversial Alpine boss and majority owner Flavio Briatore offered him shares in the team.

A similar deal took F1 design legend Adrian Newey from Red Bull to Aston Martin last year.

Speaking on a podcast with Sky Germany, Schumacher said: “Briatore is looking for a good new team boss.

“And he and Horner know and respect each other.

“I believe this is what he has always wanted and never achieved at Red Bull Racing.

“It’s something he couldn’t get anywhere else.

“That’s why I think he might be very interested in moving to Alpine as the boss.”

In the reality Horner does decide to leave Red Bull after two decades of service, Schumacher also earmarked a possible replacement.

He added: “If I were (Red Bull CEO) Oliver Mintzlaff, I would call Andreas Seidl right away and try to get him.”

Seidl, 49, was previously the CEO of Sauber and team principal of McLaren in F1.

He led McLaren from 2019 to December 2022, when it was announced he would be joining Sauber in January 2023.

In March 2024 he was then announced as the CEO of Audi’s F1 operations, but after just four months he was axed and replaced by former Ferrari chief Mattia Binotto.

The 2025 F1 season returns this weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix, with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri leading the World Drivers Championship by 10 points ahead of team-mate Lando Norris.

Red Bull’s reigning world champion Max Verstappen is 49 points off the pace after losing his head at the Spanish Grand Prix when he crashed his car deliberately into rival George Russell.

Verstappen’s actions put him on the cusp of a race ban after the FIA slapped him with three penalty points on his superlicence.

One more point before June 30 means he will face a race ban, so the Dutchman will need to be on his best behaviour for this weekend’s race in Canada and the following weekend’s Austria Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton has rubbished retirement talk after declaring his last race with Ferrari was one of the “worst he had ever experienced”.

Why are Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool not playing in the Club World Cup?

THE Club World Cup is right around the corner – and it’s set to be a thriller

The revamped tournament features 32 teams and will now take place every four years, rather than annually.

Some of the biggest names from world football will go to battle in the blockbuster $1bn event.

Lionel Messi‘s Inter Miami will be involved, as will the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and recently crowned champions of Europe, PSG.

Manchester City and Chelsea are taking part, but Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool will all stay at home due to Fifa ruling.

Why are Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool not playing in the Club World Cup?

Last season’s Premier League top two, Liverpool and Arsenal, will not feature in the Club World Cup.

Man Utd are widely regarded as one of the biggest clubs in world football, but they will also miss out.

This is due to Fifa’s qualification rules, as only two teams from each country can take part in the blockbuster tournament.

That said, if three or more teams from the same country have won their continental equivalent of the Champions League over the past four seasons, they would be guaranteed entry.

For example, Botafogo, Fluminense, Flamengo and Palmeiras are all from Brazil, but they will all feature in the Club World Cup due to their respective Copa Libertadores triumphs.

12 of the 32 spots were handed to European sides, and they were decided by the clubs’ performances in the Champions League over the last four seasons.

This is why Chelsea and Man City will play in the tournament, as they claimed the elite European trophy in 2021 and 2023 respectively.
