Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa in talks for huge reality show together just months after CBB stint and finding love

CHRIS Hughes and JoJo Siwa have had top secret meetings with ITV bosses about getting their own reality show spin off after viewers fell in love with them on Celebrity Big Brother.

The unlikely pair, who stunned fans after striking up a surprise romance following their stint on CBB, are now considering their very own fly-on-the-wall series.

And telly bosses are convinced the show could go global.

A source spilled to The Sun: “It’s still in the early stages but ITV really think they’d be amazing TV with their own show.

“Fans around the world are obsessed with their relationship and there are so many TikTok accounts devoted to their love story.”

The source continued: “Chris and JoJo are keen too, and while there is no deal signed yet, the talks have been really promising.

“ITV are eyeing up the show to air on ITV2, hopefully later this year once everything is signed on the dotted line.”

Chris, 32, first shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, where he won over the nation – and then-girlfriend Olivia Attwood – with his cheeky charm and blokey banter.

The pair even landed their own ITVBe spin-off, Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On, before their fiery romance fizzled out.

Since going public with JoJo, 22, the couple have become social media sensations, with fans gushing over their whirlwind love story.

Expect fireworks, TikTok dances, and plenty of Essex-meets-Hollywood chaos if the deal goes ahead.

It was also show how the pair navigate a long-distance relationship.

JoJo was in floods of tears yesterday after leaving the UK following three weeks with Chris.

The US pop star returned to London in May to perform a gig and enjoyed an extended stay with Chris, who she first met in March.

A JoJo fan page shared a meme of a young girl crying in London on Instagram which the pop star reposted and added: “Honestly it was worse than this more tears hahaha.”

It was reminiscent of the first days of their romance when Chris jetted home from the States after a week-long stay, leaving JoJo in tears.

They’re confident they can weather long distance though. JoJo insisted she’ll never break up with Chris calling their relationship “earthquake proof”.

She told Capital Breakfast: “You know what’s interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together.

“And this house is earthquake proof, and it’s fireproof, and bulletproof.

“And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it’s like… You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him.”

Jordan then quizzed JoJo on whether she had found her ‘happy place’ with Chris.

The US star gushed: “Oh my god, absolutely! We’re having the best time. He’s just the best!

“I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I’m decently nice; he makes me look like I’m mean!

“And I’m like known for being nice, that’s the thing. People say to me, ‘Oh, you’re so nice’.

“He makes me we want to be nicer, because he’s such a nice human. He’s the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he’s just the best.”

The pair spent time with Chris’s parents in the Cotswolds during her stay, enjoying time riding horses.

They couldn’t keep their hands off each other at times with Chris pictured kissing JoJo on the neck.

JoJo admitted she’s “shocked” at how close they have become in such a short period of time.

Speaking to Billboard, she said: “It blows my mind that 30 days ago I would never have even imagined that I would be friends with Chris Hughes, that’s the weirdest thing, much less be one of the closest people too me now in my life who I would die for.

“I think its a combination of the shared experience but also in Big Brother, you have no phone, no outside communication, no distraction, nothing.

“You only have each other. I love connecting and I love people and when someone comes into your life and you enjoy it, you can tell.”

Who is Thomas Frank’s wife Nanna?

THOMAS Frank has replaced Ange Postecoglu as head coach at Spurs, despite the Australian winning the club’s first silverware since 2008.

But he has now taken over from Big Ange at Tottenham[/caption]

Here we get to know the Danish tactician’s wife Nanna, who stepped up to support her husband financially during his early career and pushed him to take the Brentford job in the first place.

Who is Thomas Frank?

Thomas Frank took Brentford from the Championship and turned them into a Premier League fixture with a shoestring budget.

For context, Erling Halaand was paid around a quarter of the Bees’ entire combined salary during the 2024/25 season.

The Dane’s style of management has been admired by clubs including Manchester United, who reportedly considered him as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag in 2024.

But it has been confirmed that next season his new home will be North London.

In his early thirties, the former Brentford boss came close to quitting football altogether.

He had even spoken to his wife, Nanna Thiel Frank, about giving up on his dream of coaching and becoming a teacher instead.

Who is Nanna Thiel Frank?

Nanna is the wife of new Tottenham manager Frank.

The couple originally lived in Hvidovre, a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark.

But they relocated to London in late 2016 when Frank joined Brentford — first as an assistant to Dean Smith, before taking over as head coach.

Career

Nanna Thiel Frank has a background in social work.

During the early years of Frank’s coaching career — when he was earning a modest salary of roughly £5,000 a year while studying and coaching up to 40 hours a week — Nanna played a crucial role in carrying the family financially.

Her career as a social worker allowed Frank to pursue his dreams in football, even during times of financial uncertainty.

How many kids do Nanna and Thomas Frank have?

Nanna and Frank have three children together — two daughters, Freja and Alba, and a son named Bertram — but further details have not been reported.

Back in 2018, Frank told Coaches Voices: “When I told my wife, Nanna, that I was unsure about Brentford, I could hear the disappointment in her voice.

“It was the chance to move to London. But, more importantly, it was an assistant manager’s job.

“She liked the idea of me not having the pressure of being a manager or head coach…

“…Nanna… thought it was perfect. The decision was 50 per cent me and my career, and 50 per cent Nanna and the children. We decided to go for it.”

Police issue urgent mosh pit warning to rock fans ahead of Download Festival

ROCK fans looking to jump around at this weekend’s Download Festival have been urgently warned to disconnect their smart watches.

Leicestershire Police say the devices wreaked havoc for the force in previous years, causing emergency calls to spike severely.

Smart watches such as the Apple Watch or Google Pixel Watch have a built-in crash detection feature which is designed to alert emergency services when it detects the wearer has been in a “severe car crash”.

Many of these 999 calls are unnecessary, and caused by smart watches worn by those participating in mosh pits which “assume they have been in a collision”.

Users then have the option to cancel the call, but if no action is taken the device will proceed to dial 999.

Music fans who want to get involved in the rowdy, physical crowds at acts such as Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn, have been urged to put their wearable tech on airplane mode, or disable emergency calls.

Leicestershire Police receive around 600 emergency calls on a typical weekend, with this number leaping by 700 over the three days of Download Festival in Donington Park from June 13 to 15.

The force reports that: “All calls had to be assessed, with three outbound call attempts completed to ensure there is no threat, risk or harm, taking our contact handlers away from answering true emergency calls.”

This work takes handlers away from attending to true emergencies and puts undue stress onto the team.

Leicestershire Police said on Facebook: “#HelpUsHelpYou by answering our callbacks from hidden numbers to let us know you are safe.

We also recommend switching on ‘airplane mode’ or disabling emergency alerts on your wearable tech.

Apple have previously said that they are working to improve the accuracy of the crash detection feature to reduce the number of false calls.

Millions of drivers due free TV upgrade in car that lets you watch telly – and it’ll work even on old motors

Car dashboard showing navigation and media controls.

A CLEVER upgrade to cars across the world will let you watch video on your motor’s built-in screen.

It’s all thanks to a new update to Apple CarPlay, which is in millions of cars globally – and unsurprisingly, there’s a big catch.

Apple
CarPlay will be upgraded as part of the iOS 26 update for iPhones – which we’re expecting in September[/caption]

The feature will only work if you’re parked.

That’s to prevent drivers from catching up on Love Island on the M25 – a dangerous combination.

With CarPlay, your iPhone takes over your car’s screen, giving you access to your apps, music, contacts and more.

And with the iOS 26 update for iPhone later this year, you’ll be able to beam video from your mobile to your car’s display.

This works through the same AirPlay feature that lets you stream iPhone video to your telly.

So you could play a video that was saved to your Photos app.

Or you could use one of the many TV apps that support AirPlay to easily stream content to your Apple CarPlay monitor in your car.

That includes Apple TV+ and YouTube – or any other app that offers CarPlay.

“AirPlay video in the car enables people to watch their favourite videos from iPhone right on their CarPlay display when they aren’t driving,” Apple explains.

The other catch is that your carmaker will need to switch the feature on.

CarPlay is managed by Apple, but your car provider still needs to activate the new ability to watch TV.

And it won’t go live until at least September, when we’re expecting iOS 26 to roll out to millions of iPhone models as a free update.

But plenty of cars support CarPlay.

CarPlay launched back in 2014, and more than 800 models of motor across 40 brands now support it.

Apple recently revealed that it’s used more than 600 million times a day.

So there’s a good chance that the new feature will come to your car in the near future.

DRIVE ON

That wasn’t the only car upgrade from Apple.

This week, the company held its WWDC 2025 event in California, revealing all of its major software updates for the year ahead.

For a start, Apple CarPlay is getting the new Liquid Glass look that other Apple gadgets are getting later this year.

That gives the apps a glassy new aesthetic with a translucent design.

And you’ll be able to send Tapbacks to texts – they’re the quick emoji reactions that are already available in the Messages app on iPhone.

There’s support for widgets on screen, as well as Live Activities (which could show sports scores, for instance).

And Apple has also finally debuted CarPlay Ultra, which is the supercharged version of CarPlay only currently available with one car brand.

Instead of just replacing your infotainment screen, CarPlay Ultra also serves as a customisable instrument panel (showing your speed and fuel and so on), as well as allowing you to control car functions like heating.

During a sit-down interview with The Sun, Apple’s Greg ‘Joz” Joswiak said: “We’re also bringing out that next generation of CarPlay, which we just brought out for the first time about a month ago.”

Joz continued: “CarPlay is this beautiful ability to use the features of your phone.

“We wanted to have an experience with CarPlay Ultra that allows you – through that same interface that you can control your phone – to also control the aspects of your car

“Whether it’s the seat heaters or the heating system in general, or even the car radio.

“Things that are outside of normal iPhone capabilities. To control these with CarPlay Ultra.

“We’re very happy with the initial rollout of that. Some of the first vehicles started coming out last month. There’s plenty more brands working on it.”
