Whether you’re a fan of the chocolate or the plain, whether you’re a dunker or a straight-up muncher, this new version is worth a try.

McVitie’s announced they are “putting a fruity spin” on the iconic biscuit by adding an entirely new flavour to the range, and it’s the latest in a new line of releases.

The beloved biscuit brans is “bringing a burst of colour” with the launch of the limited-edition McVitie’s Pink Digestives Raspberry & Cream Flavour.

That’s right, McVitie’s production lines are now baking perfectly pink biscuits.

While each biscuit will maintain the classic golden-baked Digestive disc, it will have a whole new look and flavour.

The biscuit will topped with a luscious raspberry and cream-flavour coating.

According to McVitie’s, the release hopes to “bring together nostalgic flavours in a fun, fruity, and irresistibly moreish bite”.

So pack up your picnic basket because McVitie’s Pink Digestives are set to be the seasons’ ultimate sweet treat.

Benazir Barlet-Batada, Marketing Director at McVitie’s, spoke about the exciting new release.

“As we continue to celebrate 100 years of McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, we wanted to mark the next chapter in our history by reinventing the nation’s favourite,” she said.

“Fun, fresh and packed with fruity flavour, the new Pink Digestives are designed to delight devoted Digestives fans and foodies alike.”

McVitie’s Pink Digestives Raspberry & Cream Flavour are now available to buy in Sainsbury’s.

A full rollout of the limited edition flavour will see the snacks hit shelves across UK supermarkets from 21 July.

You can pick up a standard packet of 15 biscuits for £2.35, while the current promo version are marked down to just £1.85.

And since the classic Chocolate Digestive from McVitie’s was previously rated as the nation’s favourite, you may want to act fast to nab this deal.

But make sure you don’t make a common error when enjoying this tasty treat.

The biscuit brand recently revealed that most customers were eating the popular product wrong.

Making a simple switch can help you enjoy the sweet flavour even more.

You can check out the McVitie’s social media platforms for more information on the exciting new snack.

Bugatti Chiron Supersport 300+ hypercar is coming to Bumblebee 1000

Bumblebee 1000 Talladega Nights road trip featuring a black Bugatti Chiron.

THE wait is finally over, BUMBLEBEE 1000’s Talladega Nights roadtrip blasts off tomorrow.

For this three-day adventure, we will see over 100 of Ireland’s finest supercars starting off from Barberstown Castle.

Red Ferrari LaFerrari in a garage.
ULTIMATE FERRARI: Powered by a 6.3-litre V12 the LaFerrari produces 950bhp and can travel from 0-200kph in under 7 seconds
Bumblebee 1000

And there you’ll see one of the fastest and most expensive hypercars in the world — a 1,600bhp Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+.

This Bugatti is a limited-edition variant of the Chiron, specifically designed to break the 300mph barrier and reach speeds of up to 490.484 km/h (304.773 mph).

This Chiron Super Sport 300+ features extensive aerodynamic enhancements, including a longer tail and air curtains, to manage drag and downforce at high speeds.

But if the Chiron isn’t special enough, how about a 950bhp LaFerrari that’s powered by a 6.3-litre V12 and uses F1-derived tech and a hybrid system to produce 950bhp.

Only 499 of these drop-dead gorgeous Ferraris were made.

Or a Ferrari SF90 and a Ferrari 296 GTB?

Lamborghini Aventador 63.
SUPER RARE: Lamborghini Aventador 63 is one of only 63 worldwide

Other rare Italian supercars will include models from Lamborghini, such as the limited-edition Aventador SVJ 63, one of only 63 in the world.

And the last Gallardo Superleggera ever made, which was owned by Eric Clapton.

As well as Huracáns including STO and Performante models.

Also confirmed is a stunning 765bhp silver McLaren 765LT, the most powerful LT ever.

I’ll be back driving the new 727bhp M5 thanks to BMW Ireland, so keep your eyes peeled for the Irish Sun’s tamed motoring editor — The Ligg — driving this Fire Red super saloon.

Plus you’ll see Audi, Bentley, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan GT-Rs, Rolls Royce and some American and Australian muscle cars too.

Dublin Airport issues hand luggage rule reminder for thousands of passengers as some complain ‘bit dated’

DUBLIN Airport has issued a hand luggage rule reminder for thousands of passengers – and some complain it’s a “bit dated”.

If you’re travelling through this airport this summer, there are certain rules around carrying liquids in your hand luggage you must know.

Passengers are not permitted to carry liquids greater than 100ml in their cabin baggage[/caption]

Passengers are reminded that all liquids must be in containers of 100ml or less in order to pass through security.

These containers must be removed from your bag and placed separately in the security tray when going through screening.

All liquid containers also need to fit inside a single, clear, resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than one litre.

The airport has taken to Facebook to remind passengers jetting off this summer.

They said: “Flying off this summer?

“Don’t forget: all liquids in your hand luggage must be in a container that’s 100ml or under

“taken out of your bag and placed in the tray when going through security screening & placed in a clear 1 litre plastic bag.”

Dublin Airport provides these plastic bags free of charge, so there’s no need to worry if you don’t bring your own.

People have taken to the comments section to share their thoughts on the rule.

One person wrote: “Good information”

Another said: “I have mine in a plastic bag anyway… to prevent a mess in the case if one item starts leaking.”

But not everyone agrees with the procedure, with one person saying: “Bit dated. Belfast you leave everything in the bag and keep watches and flat shoes on.”

Another agreed, commenting: “I thought this was all finished in Dublin airport & you could just leave liquids in your handbag/luggage! Keeps chopping & changing.”

Meanwhile, Dublin Airport has revealed how a new on-site hotel will look when it’s finished with “great airfield views” and a top floor bar.

NEW HOTEL AT DUBLIN AIRPORT

Sofitel is a luxury hotel brand that is set to open on-site in the next two years.

Known for its blend of French elegance and local cultural influences, these hotels can be found in major cities around the world such as New York, Paris and London.

The Facebook post said: “It’s not just the planes flying up around here.

“Work on the new 11-storey Dublin Airport hotel, which will be directly linked into Terminal 2, is coming along very nicely.

“The hotel will offer 412 rooms when it’s finished… not to mention great views of the airfield from the bar on the top floor!”

So far, Dublin Airport has two major hotels on its campus – the Radisson Hotel and the Maldron Hotel, which both offer shuttle services to terminals.

The Sofitel will have 412 bedrooms, an all-day restaurant and be directly linked to Terminal 2.

And it will be opening on site by late 2026.
