Over 11,000 pastors and church workers from the Philippines and other nations of the world attended the annual Vision Casting of the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide (JILCW) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City where Senator Joel Villanueva spoke over the weekend. Villanueva encouraged church leaders to continue their work to spread the Gospel and faith even in challenging times, “in seasons of persecution, crisis and personal trials.” Villanueva also highlighted the value of the church’s work in charting the course of the nation. “Where the church goes, the nation goes. Tinawag at pinili tayo upang maging asin at ilaw ng sanlibutan,” Villanueva said.
