In 2026, the Springboks will play each of the Six Nations teams – three in July and three in November – as well a four-Test series against New Zealand in August and September.
Interestingly, it’s now been confirmed by Rugby Australia that the Springboks will also head to Perth to face the Wallabies on 27 September.
The much-improved Wallabies, who actually claimed a huge win over South Africa last year, will provide another important test for Rassie Erasmus’ team as preparation intensifies for the 2027 World Cup.
The Perth Test is scheduled two weeks after the fourth and final clash between the Springboks ad All Blacks in Baltimore, USA.
There will also be a new coach in charge for the Wallabies asQueensland Reds boss Les Kiss is set to take over from Joe Schmidt from August.
