For the first time in the event’s history, two icons are joining forces to reimagine the future of Afro House

The 2026 Red Bull Symphonic, featuring Sun-El Musician (Sanele Sithole) and Dlala Thukzin (Thuthuka Zindlovu), officially sold out just hours after it was announced on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.
This marks the first time the popular event will feature two artists on stage as co-headliners.
The duo is set to perform alongside Chad Hendricks, the Resident Conductor of the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at 4 PM at Montecasino in Johannesburg.
The event made its debut in 2024 with Amapiano DJ and producer Kabza De Small, featuring conductor Ofentse Pitse. In 2025, the series featured Kelvin Momo and Adam Howard.
A Symphonic Homage to the Roots of House
According to Red Bull, this year’s edition will pay homage to the roots and evolution of House music.
“From Kwaito to Gqom to Amapiano to 3-Step, House has birthed every wave that’s shaped our sound. This year, we celebrate Afro House and present its future,” the brand stated.
The one-night-only performance will feature a unique collaboration during which the artists’ repertoires will receive a full symphonic rearrangement.
Thukzin’s repertoire includes massive hits such as “Phuze Remix” and “iPlan,” while Sun-El Musician’s catalogue includes fan favorites like “Akanamali” (with Samthing Soweto), “Into Ingawe” (with Ami Faku), and “Ubomi Abumanga” (featuring Msaki).
With its first-ever co-headlining format and focus on Afro House, this year’s sold-out edition marks another big milestone for Red Bull Symphonic as it continues to reach new heights.
