Zhang Xiuhe (Chloe Hayes) took the blame for her husband Xue Changqing and her sister-in-law Bailian, going to prison in their place and enduring years of torment. After her release, she attempts to expose the truth, only to be betrayed by her own children.
At her lowest point, she rises again with the support of her brother, returning to the fashion stage where she publicly tears apart the scandal involving her husband and his mistress, stunning everyone present. When her children suddenly repent and her husband suffers a stroke, she chooses to forgive them—but ultimately walks away. This time, she lives only for herself.
