South African power couple Mpoomy Ledwaba and Brenden Ledwaba announced on Wednesday, 15 April, that they’re expecting baby number three!
They already have two children, a daughter named Nuri Lethabo, and a son named Zani Lehumo.
THE LEDWABAS PREGNANCY PHOTO SHOOT
The podcaster and author shared her pregnancy photos, which featured a simple yet wholesome photo shoot at a ranch, with the sunset enhancing the mood.
The photos had different themes; in one, Mpoomy is seen posing with her husband, while their kids playfully twirl around them.
In another shot, the family happily holds up the sonogram snaps, while in a creative video, Mpoomy fries four eggs in a pan, and then adds a fifth, symbolising the new member of the family.
Mpoomy simply captioned her post: “God has blessed us.”
MPOOMY TALKS ABOUT THE BIRTH OF HER 2ND BORN CHILD
After the birth of her son in 2020, Mpoomy opened up about her birthing experience and the new family dynamics on her YouTube channel:
“My pregnancy with Zani was beautiful. I think I was also very relaxed; most of it was under lockdown, and I didn’t gain too much weight. I was in a healthy state, [with] no swollen feet,” she began.
“Children are a gift I never knew I needed. They opened up a whole new world for us,” she added.
“I love being a boy mom, I love being a girl mom. We’ve got Pete and Pear, and [that’s] just how we planned our kids,” she continued.
“It is how we planned out our family when we started talking about family. I’m so blessed with my angels, Nuri and Zani. They love each other,” she said.
THE MATRIACHS IN THE COUPLE’S LIFE
In March 2026, Brenden penned a message in remembrance of his late mother on Instagram.
“My mom was a women [sic] of prayer, she loved church, and she loved people, a Ma’ Moruti at the highest level.”
“From a young age, we were taught ministry as a form of service. There’s a special grace reserved for the kind of ministry that gives more than it takes, that’s the ministry my mom and dad have always championed, and lived,” he wrote.
Two years ago, Mpoomy, together with her mother Nomsa, sister Nonto, and brother Mtho, celebrated Mother’s Day on her YouTube channel.
One of the questions that Mpoomy posed to her mother was: “How did you feel when I became a mom?
She replied, “I was excited for you but also very scared for you… [sic] if you would cope because motherhood is a job, it’s a full-time job,” she said.
