CEBU CITY, Philippines — Muslims in the Philippines will celebrate Eid’l Fitr on Saturday, March 21, 2026, after the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted, the Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ announced Thursday. In a Facebook post, the Bangsamoro government said Bangsamoro Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulrauf Guialani led the official moon sighting, but the crescent was not seen.
