Tickets from R50 are now available as Bafana Bafana prepare to face Panama in international friendlies in Durban and Cape Town.

In preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, Bafana Bafana are set to face Panama in a series of friendly matches taking place in Durban on 27 March 2026 and Cape Town on 31 March.
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos announced his preliminary squad for these international friendlies on Monday, 9 March.
The matches will also mark the highly anticipated return of Mamelodi Sundowns forward Themba “Mshishi” Zwane. The 36-year-old has been sidelined with an Achilles injury since the team’s clash against Congo-Brazzaville at the Africa Cup of Nations on 15 October 2025.
This series serves as a massive challenge for South Africa.
According to the FIFA World Rankings released on 19 January, Panama is currently ranked 33rd in the world, while Bafana Bafana sits at 60th.
This will be the team’s ultimate test leading up to their opening World Cup match against Mexico on 11 June at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
Families and fans are encouraged to come out in their numbers to support the national team.
Tickets are currently on sale via Ticketpro, starting at R50 for children under the age of 12 and R80 for adults.
