ITHUBA, operators of the South African National Lottery, have announced that two lucky participants each won multi-million-rand jackpots over the weekend.
There was one winner of the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot and one winner of the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot from Draw 2638, held on Saturday, 18 April.

The Lotto Plus 1 jackpot of R9 945 027.10 was won by a participant who placed a R100 wager
using the manual selection method.
The winning numbers were 1, 4, 8, 40, 41, 57.
Meanwhile, the bonus ball – which is not required for the jackpot – was 19.
The Lotto Plus 2 jackpot of R22 308 590.70 was won from an R80 wager, using the Quick Pick selection method.
Those numbers were 21, 38, 43, 56, 57, 58.
The bonus ball was 53.
Banking platforms
Both winning tickets were purchased via banking platforms, showcasing the convenience and
accessibility of playing the National Lottery through digital channels.
The Lotto Plus 1 jackpot was won via the Capitec banking app, while the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot was won via the FNB banking app.
The winners will be contacted directly by their respective banks to be notified of their multi-million-rand winnings.

New Lotto jackpots
Following the latest wins, the Lotto jackpots have now been reset for the next draw, scheduled for Wednesday, 22 April.
Both the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 jackpots now stand at R500 000.
Lotto Jackpot Rolls Over
Meanwhile, there were no winners of Saturday’s Lotto draw jackpot, resulting in a rollover.
The Lotto numbers drawn were 23, 25, 31, 48, 52, 53 with the bonus ball number 8.
The jackpot for Lotto has now climbed to an estimated R86 million for Wednesday’s draw.
ITHUBA has reminded winners to sign the back of their tickets and present valid identification when claiming prizes, while urging players to play responsibly.
