Synopsis
Lin Zhixia, a genius girl, is direct and not good at socializing. She has had no close friends since childhood. After being admitted to the No.1 Middle School of the province, she meets Jiang Yubai, a sunny and top-performing student, during a problem-solving contest, and they become desk mates.
As someone skilled at socializing, Jiang Yubai helps Lin Zhixia fit into the group and make friends, including Tang Tingting, Duan Qiyan, Shen Fuxuan, and Jin Baihui. To thank him, Lin Zhixia tutors him in his studies. Gradually, they move from rivalry to helping each other, and eventually become best friends.
Together, they help a classmate who was scammed, join club activities, and take part in the provincial math competition. During this time, Jiang Yubai develops feelings for Lin Zhixia but keeps them hidden in his heart.
After Lin Zhixia is recommended for admission to Fudan University, Jiang Yubai plans to confess his love during their graduation trip. However, he has to leave regretfully because his mother gets caught up in a fraud case.
In the end, will they be able to overcome all obstacles and be together?
