Caitlyn Jenner, the transgender woman who was Kris Jenner’s husband and a 1976 Olympic gold medalist, Bruce Jenner, aired her troubles changing her documents after she became female.
Jenner was speaking with Tomi Lahren on the Tomi Lahren is Fearless podcast when the topic came up.
“…Today, documentation is extremely important. Every time you turn around, you gotta show ID, ID, ID. So somebody in my position, who has transitioned, I worked very, very hard. I worked with a law firm to make sure everything was changed from ‘M’ to ‘F’, right down to my birth certificate… They were able to change the gender marker, so even my birth certificate says, Caitlyn Marie Jenner, sex, female. All my documentation was right,” said Jenner.
The trouble started when Jenner‘s passport had to be renewed.
“I love President Trump, and I think he signed this executive order. I don’t know who underneath him was putting this thing together… that all federal documents have to be biological sex at birth… recently I had my passport… renewed… it comes back ‘gender marker ‘M’… screws everything up,” Jenner continued.
“…They made a mistake, you can correct it. So I fill out all the proper forms… I’m not calling anybody, I’m gonna see if I can fix this myself because it’s not just about me, it’s about all people in this situation… They sent it back ‘M’, they didn’t change it at all.”
“So now I’m in a position, Tomi, what do I do?” said Jenner. “This is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore, I can’t use my passport… That’s where I’m at now… for a lot of people, this is a huge issue.”
