Award-winning musician and content creator, Liema Pantsi has been crowned the Queen of Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa season.

Pantsi was announced the winner of the 6th season of Mzansi’s reality show on Sunday evening, following a very stressful and tense week for her fans.

Hailing all the way from the Eastern Cape, eQonce, Pantsi left viewers and a majority of Africans who follow the show with mixed emotions, as many on social media were convinced that the runner-up, Thandeka Tshabalala, would be taking the R2 million back to Italy.

This is not Pantsi’s first rodeo; she previously appeared on BBMzansi’s S’yamosha season, where she made the bold decision to take R250,000 and exit the game early – a move that broke her fans’ hearts.

This season, she returned with a completely different mindset. Older, more focused, and with a clearer sense of self, Pantsi made it clear from the start that she was not there to play emotionally or get distracted.

Her eyes were firmly on the prize, and her beautiful and kind heart, along with her ability to stand up for others, won millions of viewers’ hearts.

Taking to social media shortly after her massive win, her handler shared a powerful message:

This second chance wasn’t by accident; it had a purpose.

Thank you to every single person who stood by her, even when it didn’t look good. You didn’t move, you didn’t fold… you stayed. And because of that, we witnessed the growth, the strength, the evolution.”

She has proved to her fans once again that she never leaves empty handed.
