Synopsis
After Nicole Quinn’s family goes bankrupt, she is taken in by her mother’s best friend, beginning a 20-year bond with Colin and Abel from the Smith family. The brothers dote on Nicole, but everything changes when the nanny’s daughter, Mandy Moore, enters the picture. Nicole becomes the target of Mandy’s schemes and humiliation, placing her in a difficult situation where the Smith brothers start distancing themselves and lose interest in her.
As Nicole, the cherished daughter of the Quinn family, she grew up alongside her childhood companions Abel and Colin from the Smith family. The three were inseparable, sharing a deep bond. However, with the arrival of adolescence, things began to change subtly. Influenced by family affairs and budding romantic feelings, Abel and Colin started to inexplicably distance themselves from Nicole, even responding to her friendly gestures with cold words and sarcasm. A major misunderstanding led Nicole to believe she had been betrayed by her childhood friends. Heartbroken, she resolutely chose to run away from home.
After leaving, Nicole arrived in an unfamiliar city and started from scratch. During the day, she ran around looking for work, and at night, she burned the midnight oil studying business knowledge. Relying on her intelligence and resilience, she worked her way up from a low-level employee in a small company, overcoming obstacles along the way, and ultimately succeeded in building her own business empire. She completed the stunning transformation from a pampered heiress to an independent, strong businesswoman. Meanwhile, back home, it was only after Nicole left that Abel and Colin realized how deep their feelings for her had become, filled with regret. They set aside everything to embark on a journey to find Nicole, hoping to mend their precious bond.
