How much Zimbabwe earned at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026

International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the final prize money distribution following the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The tournament featured a total players’ prize money pool of US$11.25 million, part of a record-breaking increase in ICC prize funds introduced in 2024.

Zimbabwe’s earnings from the tournament

Zimbabwe national cricket team will receive a prize money of US$491 538 (about R9.07 million) after finishing seventh overall in the competition.

The payout includes several components such as a base participation payment, bonuses for match wins and additional rewards for progressing through different stages of the tournament.

Each team automatically received a base participation payment of US$225 000 (about R4.15 million), with the remaining amount determined by their final position and performance during the group stage and knockout rounds.

How the prize money is calculated

According to the ICC, the figures represent gross prize money earned throughout the competition, including the group stage, Super 8s, semi-finals and final.

However, the governing body noted that the amounts are calculated before any applicable tax compliance or deductions.
