South Africa’s Ryan Gibbons won the men’s elite Cape Town Cycle Tour in perfect conditions on Sunday.
Gibbons, 31, who rides for the UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek, crossed the line in a record time of 2:33.06.
It was his first Cape Town Cycle Tour win.
Jaedon Terlouw (South Africa) took second place (2:33.06) with another local rider, Ryno Schutte, rounding out the podium in (2:33.07).
