Nagmistulang tribute kay Paulo Avelino ang isang bahagi ng mediacon ng “The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan” na ginanap noong Lunes.
Tinanong kasi ang ibang mga cast kung kumustang katrabaho ang aktor at lahat sila’y puro papuri ang mga sinabi sa leading man ng serye.
Ayon kay Robbie Jaworski, masarap katrabaho si Pau at marami siyang natutunan dito.
“It’s really fun and Kuya Pau got to give me a lot of wisdom and good tips and I was grateful na kasama ko si Kuya Pau sa first time or una kong eksena talaga dahil he got to support me.
“I was really nervous pero buti na lang ginabayan ako ni Kuya Pau and I really appreciate it,” kuwento ng binatang anak nina Mikee Cojuangco at Dodot Jaworski.
Hiningan ng reaksyon si Paulo sa naging pahayag ni Robbie at aniya, “I’ve been in their shoes when I was also starting my career, ang isang wini-wish ko lagi sana magka-patience sa akin ‘yung mga kaeksena ko and in all fairness naman sa veteran actors na katrabaho ko meron, ‘yung iba wala” sabay-tawa.
“Kaya sinabi ko sa sarili ko na kapag may kaeksena ako na actors, especially new ones, I always have the patience to give them time to (study their role) para hindi sila kabahan,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon naman kay Rafael Rosell, isang malaking karangalan parati sa kanya na makatrabaho si Paulo.
“I’ve worked with him before sa 100 Days to Heaven noong 2011, na first guesting mo (Paulo) and already, doon sa kaeksena niya kasama ko siya at nasa board meeting kami, Paulo Avelino comes there with his star quality, lahat sa set talaga parang, ‘wow, so this is the new guy.’
“So, ako, of course, until now, I have the respect and the starstruck quality of Paulo and it’s an honor and have the pleasure to be working with Paulo,” tsika ni Rafael.
Sey naman ng leading lady ni Pau na si Kim Chiu, “Tribute mo pala ito, happy birthday, wow nakakaiyak.”
Maging sina Thou Reyes at Sofia Andres ay nagkuwento kung gaano kabait si Paulo.

COJ show kanselado
Hindi natuloy ang show ng bandang Cup of Joe sa Qatar last February 14 dahil sa kawalan ng kinakailangang permit at mga dokumento.
Sa official statement na ipinost ng Viva Records and Viva Live sa kanilang official social media accounts, idinetalye nila kung bakit nakansela ang show.
“This is to formally clarify that the proposed Cup of Joe show in Qatar will not proceed. While a written agreement was executed with the local event producer, the required government permits and regulatory approvals necessary to stage the event were not secured by the producer. In the absence of these mandatory approvals, the event cannot lawfully take place,” ang nakasaad sa official statement.
“We requested the local producer to issue a public advisory regarding this matter. As no communication has been released by them, we are issuing this statement to prevent further confusion and misinformation,” dagdag pang paliwanag.
Iginiit din ng Viva Live and Viva Records na walang natatanggap na ticket proceeds ang Cup of Joe at hindi rin daw nila pinayagan ang kahit anong promo sa event habang wala pang aprubadong permit.
“Please be advised that Cup of Joe and its management have not received any ticket proceeds directly, nor have we authorized any promotion of the event without confirmed permits in place. All compliance requirements fall under the responsibility of the local event producer,” saad pa sa statement
“We remain committed to delivering performances only under fully compliant and properly authorized arrangements to ensure the safety of our artists, team, and audience.
“We appreciate the continued support of our fans in Qatar and hope to visit under proper and approved circumstances in the future,” pahayag pa nila.
