CAVITE CITY – A touching love story was the highlight of the “Kasalang Bayan” held on Valentine’s Day in this city.
Among the hundreds of hearts that promised to love each other for life were Mr. and Ms. Rohan, a young couple who almost missed their own wedding.
Hours before the wedding ceremony, Kriscelle fainted in the middle of the preparations due to extreme fatigue and lack of sleep and food while attending to the details of their special day. She was rushed to the Salamanca Hospital for immediate medical attention.
Lennon thought that they would not make it to the wedding rites. But after immediate treatment and a few hours of rest, Kriscelle quickly recovered and decided to pursue the ceremony.
After nearly two hours of waiting, the young couple was given a special opportunity. They were married on stage, in front of fellow newlyweds and guests, in the presence of Cavite City Mayor Denver Chua.
